The KCL1 DIESELTECH –16® is manufactured in the UK to the highest standards of excellence within an ISO 9001 /2000 engineering environment. It bears the CE mark and is guaranteed for 5 years. Every unit is independently laboratory tested and certified. Such is its robust construction, however, that we are confident that it will deliver its benefits for much longer than this.

It measures 16” x 4” x 4”, is constructed of ¼” steel plate and weighs 7kgs. There are inlet and outlet ports for the fuel and coolant water, drawn from the vehicle's cooling system).  

The unit is easily fitted by a competent technician in 2 hours, there are no moving parts and, once installed, requires no maintenance. ( a drain plug is included to facilitate flushing should the need arise)

During operation the KCL1 DIESELTECH –16® preheats the diesel fuel to a temperature of between 80 to 85 degrees fahrenheit prior to it entering the injectors. This ensures a more homogenous and cleaner burn of the fuel which results in increased fuel efficiency and a reduction in exhaust emissions. Under colder conditions the unburned, heated fuel is returned to the vehicle's fuel tank thus assisting in reducing potential gelling problems.
